End of the album wars - an introduction

Published by libertarianvegan at 12:53 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Before the advent of easily traded digital songs, the album was king.  Song order was chosen to create a certain feeling so as to take the listener on a journey.  Singles were always important, but to fully feel what the musicians were trying to communicate, the entire record had to be taken in.

This is not to be a music critic site, there is plenty of that nonsense online.  I want to celebrate albums and the place they have had in my life by telling the stories that go along with them.  Everyone has specific memories and stories tied to certain records, and so I hope you will share your stories as well.  It is not only a celebration of the music, but of the real impact music can have.
